Open Call: CHECK MYSELF | Group Photography Exhibition
NRML invites photographers to submit work for CHECK MYSELF, a group exhibition exploring self-representation, identity, and personal narrative through photography.
The exhibition centers artists who claim authorship over their own image and perspective. Submissions may include portraiture, self-portraiture, documentary, conceptual, or experimental photography that reflects how artists choose to represent themselves, their communities, or their lived experiences.
Photographers at all stages of their careers are encouraged to apply.
Submission Guidelines
- Submit 1–5 photographs
- Include a brief artist statement (100–250 words)
- Provide name, location, and contact information

(a) Fill Out Entry Form LINK
(b) When uploading files, please name your photo files 01 Your First & Last Name etc
(c) Deadline: Sunday March 22nd, 2026
(d) Selected Artists contacted by Wed March 25th
(e) Event Date Thurs April 23, 4p to 7p est
Selected works will be exhibited at NRML with an opening reception at the end of April 2026. Photographers will provide a framed photo, ready to hang, for the exhibit. This is a not-for-profit group show event.
