Sole Box and adidas have a well-established creative history, having joined forces on various shoe designs over the years. In their latest venture, the two German entities are drawing inspiration from the summer's of past, creating a Rivalry Low sneaker with a fun, ice cream-inspired twist.
The Sole Box x adidas Rivalry Lo "Ice Cream Sandwich" starts with a clean white full-grain leather base, accented by soft grey suede touches. The subdued upper provides a perfect backdrop for a burst of lively contrasts. Adding a unique touch, the tongue is crafted in a warm tan shade with a textured, waffle iron-like material.
The side stripes are covered in a microsuede fabric, with a rich chocolate brown on the outer side and a striking strawberry pink on the inner side and insoles. The sneakers come packaged in serrated foil wrapping reminiscent of an ice cream sandwich wrapper, and they're scheduled for release in October 2023.
