Co-created with KITH, the GEL-KAYANO® 12.1 sneaker combines iconic design details from the version that launched in 2006 and combines them with a modern tooling system.
This design's upper was inspired by European gothic armor and its structural, metallic properties. Meanwhile, its open mesh underlays help improve airflow to keep feet cool.
The midsole features the same tooling system from the GEL-NIMBUS® 17 shoe. It was originally engineered for comfort during the duration of marathons, featuring dual GEL® technology inserts and a FLUIDRIDE® cushioning structure.
