Zip and strip—your pants just became shorts. Regardless of the length, the quick-drying, water-repellent and UV-resistant fabric (and loads of pockets) gives you the versatility you need. We updated the fit with more width through the legs than previous editions of the Smith Summit cargo pants.
Smith Rock Inspired
These pants were originally designed and tested in Oregon, USA, where the state's vast wilderness and climate served as inspiration for this design. Our team went to Smith Rock—a rock climbing playground in Central Oregon—to connect with the environment and learn how it can inform our gear and how we use it.
Take Cover
The woven fabric repels water and blocks UV rays to help keep you protected while you take on the great outdoors. A double-layer construction at the knees, made with super tough CORDURA® fabric, provides protection against abrasion, wear and tear.
Equipped for Adventure
Hand pockets and spacious cargo pockets are equipped with zippers to secure your essentials. An elastic waistband, webbing belt and quick-release buckle create a secure, comfortable fit. An ACG tribiner attaches at the waistband loop.
Fit for the Outdoors
The loose fit feels roomy through the seat, thighs and legs. Articulation at the knees, a bit of stretch in the fabric and an on-seam gusset help promote natural movement.
Styling Options
Switching up your layers has never been easier thanks to detachable lower panels. We added color-coded zippers to ensure each leg ends up in the right place.
