Above The Clouds and ASICS SportStyle come together to introduce a new take on the GEL-SD-LYTE, drawing inspiration from one of the oldest forms of craftsmanship: weaving.
Inspired by a technique passed hand to hand, culture to culture and city to city, the collaboration celebrates the communities that continue to shape craft and design. That influence comes through in the sneaker’s intricate woven upper, bringing texture and depth to the silhouette while highlighting its construction.
Rendered in black and gunmetal, the understated palette allows the woven detailing to take centre stage. The result is a refined, minimalist design that balances traditional craft with a contemporary approach.
