One of the last models to actually appear with His Airness on court, the Air Jordan 13 is now two decades old with its debut all the way back in 1997. Playing off Jordan's own nickname growing up and on the court, the AJ13 originally drew inspiration from a 'black cat', with the 13's signature jewel on the heel featuring a 3D Jumpman representing the feline's green eye.

With the shoe's DNA being so panther-heavy already, this past weekend's release was a natural colourway 20 years in the making, with Jordan brand's familiar 'Black Cat' series finally making it to the 13 silhouette. Adorned entirely in black with the exception of subtle 3M hits and the glowing green panther's eye, the Air Jordan 13 takes its inspiration almost literally in perhaps its most menacing form yet.

The Air Jordan 13 'Black Cat' is available online HERE at and in-store at 184 Rideau. The black panther is naturally a nocturnal hunter, so don't sleep on these!
