During the 1985/1986 season, Michael Jordan broke his foot and came back just in time for the playoff push. Deciding between shoes, the Air Jordan 2 featured more support and cushioning but the Air Jordan 1 was what His Airness was more comfortable in. Finding a common ground for his return, the Air Jordan 1 High 'The Return' was created. It features the upper of the Air Jordan 1 and the tooling of the Air Jordan 2.
It wasn’t until this year, the 30th anniversary, that the Jordan brand decided to release this previously only sampled silhouette. Look for the Air Jordan 1 retro High 'The Return' to release this Saturday November 21st in the always-popular black/red colourway!
