As a part of the 30th anniversary of the Jordan Brand, the latest Air Jordan 1 Mid pays homage to a beloved friendship between one of the greatest athletes and one of the world's most cherished cartoon characters.
With a relationship that stretches all the way back to the 90s, the treasured Bugs Bunny and Michael Jordan duo was first introduced during a 1992 Jordan Brand commercial. Celebrating the "fun of the game," the campaign was highly successful and even resulted in the major motion picture, Space Jam in 1996.
Blending the old with the new, the release commemorates the 23rd anniversary of this legendary pair with a colorway inspired by the iconic Looney Tunes character. While the upper remains predominately white and Light Silver, the tongue sees the use of vibrant colors influenced by Bug's signature carrot.
With the Hare Jordan logo and wording adorning the tongue and heel, the Air Jordan 1 Mid "Hare" will be available in-store at NRML (184 Rideau) on Saturday, April 25th at 10 am. One per customer, while quantities last.
